Adam Smith is an Assistant Research Professor and Instructional Consultant at the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence at Penn State University. He has a Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Texas Tech University, with a focus on Piano Pedagogy. His work at the Schreyer Institute focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and learning as well as building community. As a dad of a 4-year-old, Adam keeps his creative energies alive through storytelling, doodling, and making mischief. He continues to play and teach in his copious free time.
