With this faculty showcase, the Center for Pedagogy in Arts and Design shared research and pedagogical projects from the inaugural year of faculty Innovators in Residence. The projects of our researchers/educators included designing teaching and learning, performing and exhibiting, and implementing pedagogical practices in both formal and informal settings. While in the Borland Project Space (BPS), we utilized the room to present in-progress work and to commune with partners from across the university. Throughout the showcase, resident work—ranging from video and audio to photography and other didactic materials—was on view, encouraging continued research and pedagogical discussion, visibility, and participation. A showcase reception was held February 21, allowing audience a chance to talk directly with artists/researchers/educators.

Highlighted projects included works from the following faculty members: Bryan Nichols, Heather McCune Bruhn, Michael Collins, Susan Russell, Mark Ballora, Kikora Franklin, Jeanmarie Higgins, Cathy Braasch, and Ryan Russell.
