The Center for Pedagogy in Art and Design is working in collaboration with Penn State’s
Teaching and Learning with Technology to build a new state-of-the-art teaching lab that will serve as the new home for C-PAD. This space includes multiple projectors that students can control for group work, writeable walls and surfaces, a flexible layout and movable furniture, a high-resolution visual display, high fidelity surround audio, an observation area for faculty professional development, and imbedded technology for communicating with artists and scholars from around the world. The C-PAD Teaching Lab is available by appointment to all Arts and Architecture faculty for innovative teaching and learning projects. C-PAD teaching lab opened in Fall 2019.
